Healing...is not a science, but the intuitive art of wooing Nature. W.H. Auden |
Frequently Asked Questions What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement, for example, tracksuit pants, yoga pants, leggings or comfortable shorts with a T-shirt, fitted T-shirt or singlet. You don’t want your clothes to be too baggy as you may find this annoying in certain positions when your shirt may ride up. You also don’t want clothes to be so tight that they restrict movement. Do I need to bring my own yoga mat? Of course you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but if you don’t have one, YogaChi has mats available for you to use. If you decide you would like your own mat you can purchase one through YogaChi. How can I book a class? We are in the process of setting up online booking. In the meantime, if you click on the class time in the timetable you will be able to send us an email with your name and contact number to book into a class. How can I pay for classes? Online payment will be available soon. Currently all payment must be made via cash or bank deposit. You can pay when you arrive for class, or over the internet when you book your class. Are any of your classes suitable for beginners? Absolutely! Beginners are welcome to all classes. There will be time in all classes for adjustments and corrections. Remember, it is your practice: you should take classes at your own pace. Please give yourself a few weeks of classes to get used to yoga. Do your classes run in accordance with the school term? Yes, roughly. Classes will run in 10 week blocks. See the timetable page for 2015 dates. Do classes run on public holidays? No, there are no classes on public holidays.
